Looks like AMD snuck these guys right under the 8800GT and above the 8600GTS price points. $179-219
Both full pixel shaders, the lower 3850 is just lower clocked. Actually low power consumption, low temps and quieter. Not really challenging the 8800GT for performance but value. Of course it will get intersting when the 8800GT 256mb comes out.

I think I'll wait for an 8800GT. I just can't stand the fact that now prices have skyrocketed due to short supply - I was expecting to get a 512 MB one for $250-260, but now the minimum seems to be close to $315 on most Canadian sites. :|

Their highest model is still 299.99USD and I'm pretty sure your currency is equal or slightly better than ours so you should be good.

Problem is that their all on backorder.
