ati radeon 9800pro prob

Hey,

I just found out that generic settings in CSS such as AA and AF dont change my AA or AF...

I tried messing around with those and my ATI taskbar thingy, neither altered my picture (picture seems 2x AA and i dunno about AF)

All css related settings change just not generic ones.


Oh and i disabled the ATI thing and it still didnt change it.

Any ideas?

Hmm, sounds boggered. Maybe re-installing the drivers? That usually puts all the settings back to defualt - so hopefully it'll sort out whatever's stopping AA from working.

for the drivers it should be set application preference. not sure what you mean by disabling it.

my radeon 9800 pro aiw doesnt like the new catalysts... they shut down the agp multiplication..... so i have to use the old drivers..... and my hands are all shiney because of it......

No problems here with my 9800 AIW pro and the latest Catalyst Control Center. I have 2xAA (Temporal) set in catalyst, and set AF in CSS. All works great.
