ATI Radeon HD 512MB

I'm getting the ATI Radeon HD 2900XT 512MB. I want to know if the 512MB has anything to do with how much you can store on to your computer. Please, educate me.

Uh, no. The 512 MB is just the on-board memory the video card has for temporarily storing data such as textures.

Okay, thanks. That was my mom's question and I didn't really have the answer, but that's what I thought anyway.
