ATI Radeon Question HELP

I am buying a new computer soon and want it to run HL2 on it decently. My question: What will the main difference be in the game between running a 64mb Radeon 9200 and a 128mb Radeon 9600? I think one runs at DirectX8.1 and the other at DirectX9 but the computer with the 9600 is more money and I like the computer with the 9200 better overall. So i dont know if the improvement of the 9600 over the 9200 would be worth me buying the more expensive and second choice computer. (Q: again for people who forgot it): How much better will the 128mb Radeon 9600 be than the 64mb Radeon 9200 for HL2? Thanks in advance.
p.s- Yes I play games on a laptop- a laptop is more appropriate for work and school so thats why I have one.

List the specs of both machines, but at the moment the 9600 is the way to go.

Both machines are laptops with the same specs. pentiumM 1.6, 512ram. And I know the 9600 is better but I was wondering how much better it would be to see if it is worth it, and if the 64mb vs. 128mb make that big of a difference. Thanks

Yes it would make the difference I think.

I would research the difference with benchmarks but I don't have links to any.
