ATI Raedon 256 MB PCI

Hey guys... I have a wicked huge dillema!!! I have no AGP slot on my MB. It's a decent system but I just don't wanna throw a PCI card in it if it isn't going to run ok. ANYONE OUT THERE RUNING PCI? and if so how is it? Thanks guys.

I know I know guys... It's my girl's PC. I have a system that I played Half-Life 1 on and it was mint... but hers believe it or not is better. I mean it's a crap E-Machine but It's got plenty of memory and plenty of juice just no GD AGP slot. Any thought on the PCI card?
