ATi to make announcemet regarding HL2 (Today)

They'll probably say that you can redeem your voucher in 2004 when the game comes out. If it was a 2003 announcement, I think Valve would be the one issuing it.

No, this has not been announced before; the information we will receive from ATi will probaly be something brand new. And come to think of it, when has Valve ever made their own announcements without something cataclysmic happening before; ala the leaked Source/Beta. Even getting an announcement then was like pulling teeth. Although their network was down they could have least picked up the phone/faxed other gaming sites with a statement.
