ATI tool?

hi, i recently installed an arctic cooling vga silnecer on my hercules 9800pro and was wondering whether everyone else uses ati tool to overclock? i ask this because according ati tool my max core is about 413 and my max ram is about 362, and i see people on here with 450 cores and 400 ram and wonder, "wot the hell is wrong with my chip?!"

yea, its strange my 9600xt turbo is sopost to be 650 mhz, but it says 553

get ragetweak or some other tool.

yeh but will i be able to clock the card higher than what ati tool tells me is my max overclock without seeing artifacts ingame? ( also so it isnt unsafe )
