App pref. If you have it on when a game dosnt support AA/AF it crashes/blackscreens, or atleast for me. I always leave it on App Pref, so in game options I can change it there instead of opening the pannel everytime I want to play the game and I don't get any problems and it works fine.

Umm... *everything* should be set to app pref. There's no reason to have it off or on.
