Hi
My system is a notebook:
hp nc8430
2ghz core duo
x1600
1gb ram
When i play half life 2: episode one or LC, in certain places the game crashes and i get an infinite sound loop and BSOD and ati2dvag infinite loop error message. Occasionally the game crashes without BSOD and in these cases after the crash the visual direct 3D tests in DXDIAG ALL fail, this is fixed by just restarting.
ive tried the latest drivers from HP and ATI 7.4/7.5 (with and without CCC), aswell as omega drivers. i uninstalled the drivers before installing the new ones, but i still get this very frustrating problem. Ive also run DX update.
