Attachments opening in the same window.

Am I the only one getting slightly annoyed by this? The attachments have been opened in a new window for as long as I can remember,
but now they open in the same window when you click them.

Of course you can use tabs and such if you have Firefox, I'm just wondering why it was changed and if anyone else has any opinion about this?

i would like it to pop up into another window again as well... i've exited out of a thread so many times because of that...

No your not the only one Crazy. The last upgrade to VB made it do that, and SM is away for a lil bit now. If it helps none of the staff like it neither, and we're constantly closing the wrong windows because of it heh.

Yeah, that's the worst for me I think. Also, occasionally I'll crash out for whatever reason. When I come back ALL posts are marked unread. That drives me insane.

But I believe a simple hack in the code can fix it (at least for the new screen thing)

PLEASE don't make it go back to opening a new window. If I want a new window, I'm perfectly capable of holding down the appropriate hotkey while I click. (There is a key for IE, Moz, and I suspect for Opera. If you like all those new windows, learn the hotkey!) If you force the new windows, it takes removes the option to NOT have a new window all the time.
