Audio not Playing?

during the very first section of 'Point Insertion', where you get off the train, The dialog of Breens Message does not play, and when barney talks to the scientist i dont hear the scientist talk, any hints?

I have viritually the same problem as you do. Initially the sound was working in the game, then after uninstalling and reinstalling the game, now there is no sound. I posted a bit more details in a new thread called, First There Was Sound, and Now No Sound.

Anybody have any clues? This is not a system related issue, but something with the game itself. All other games and normal system related sounds work fine.
