Audio Problem

I put all my skate videos that I filmed onto one disc and then reformated my computer. After I re entered them onto my computer the audio messed up.. I can hear anything, when I play it in WMP it like shows the file name in red, and has a ! next to it. I believe that I need a Codec? Can anyone help?

Download VideoLan, this program can run almost anything, and if it can't run it it the file is corrupt.
