Having said that I'm willing to wait to see what his proposal to counter climate change is before deciding if he is a credible option, although from his beliefs I really doubt I would vote for him anyway.

But it implement a massive new tax on industries that emit alot of green house gases. The response to the tax will be for them to close up shop in Australia and move off shore. Jobs will be lost and money will be lost.

As far as I know, the scheme involves permits which can be bought and sold between companies, not a tax. Secondly, the response of most companies affected by the scheme is going to be to raise energy prices, not cut losses and run. Stop being so melodramatic.
