Australian F1 GP

I went to the Gran Prix today. Just wondering if anyone else was planing to watch it tomorrow and who they think will win.
I'm hoping for this guy

Raikkonen will win. Alonso, Hamilton and with good luck Massa will fight for the podium I believe.

I'm rooting for McLaren this year. They've got a good car and good drivers. Hamilton may be inexperienced but he has the heart of a champion. Expect great things from McLaren this year :thumbs:

Well, McLaren came 2nd and 3rd ... I'd say thats a fantastic result for the new car and the new drivers ... Lewis Hamilton taking 3rd on his first GP ever? That's almost unheard of.

I have a general dislike for Ferrari, but I can live with Raikkonen winning. Mclaren ftw.

Kimi has been my man for the last 4 years, finally he's got a car that can give him what he deserves.

I am glad that Kimi now has a car he can compete with, however, i will be cheering on Hamilton throughout the season, whilst also hoping Button comes to his senses and leaves Honda so he can truly shine at long last.

Where would he go, though? Unless you drive for Ferrari or Mclaren (and maybe Renault at the very outside) you have zero chance of winning the championship. I doubt either of them are shopping for new drivers yet.

Renault needs to get rid of Fisi, he's never been up to much imo.

Heh, Fisi is a total joke. He never even vaguely competed with Alonso and was never going to challenge this year. During the race, his team are always on at him to push harder. I don't see him being there next year.

I agree, that's all you ever seem to hear when Fisi's team radio is on. He just doesn't seem to have the drive to win.

There was talk of F1 going national - where each country had its own team (like the world cup, but for f1) ... I'm all in favour of this. I don't know how far these plans got, or if they're still in the works. Hope it's on the way!

We'd have a team like mclaren, with drivers like lewis hamilton and jenson button. The italians would have a great car but crap drivers, as would the french.

A1GP is close, but I heard it was more of an F1 replacement, still 'managed' by Bernie. A1GP is falling apart before it's even begun. I'd like to see the current F1 drivers racing for their countries rather than their constructors!
