Mac said:I wonder if Half-Life 2 will have autoaim like in half life 1.
i used it in half life 1, so i could shoot those damn scary ass head crabs crawling in vents in the pitch dark with ease
Rexz said:I think as long as it can't be enabled in multiplayer it's fine. There's nothing wrong with letting less experienced people have a slightly easier time so they can have the same amount of fun.

tehsolace said:Maybe you should play HL1 with autoaim on again, because thats not what it does. HL1 autoaim doesn't move your mouse at all, it just registers a hit even if your aim isn't directly precise.
Six Three said:whats the fun in playing when you dont do any of the work?
Soundwave said:Exactly. This is one of the reasons (among many others) that I hate the losers that cheat in multiplayer games.
Damn! That is a retarted way to say it, yet you are correct about the fact.Mountain Man said:Auto aim is for teh n00bs.
...or will they? :naughty:Mac said:i dont think the npc's are gonna get mad at you if you use autoaim in sp

Six Three said:not true bud, the crosshair actualy does jump. I just tried it and I hovered the crossy to the right of a zombies head, and before I shot it jumped and "locked" onto its head...
Bicka said:Yeah what if it locks on a npc while your aiming for something behind them?
With all the character interaction, auto aiming is going to be a risky business.
*I don't use autoaim btw. Don't see the point. I turned it off when I was playing Halo(pc) as well. Rather aim myself and do the game properly.
