autoexec.cfg not working

so i did what i read on these forums and made a text file, put the commands that i wanted in there, and saved as all files and as autoexec.cfg and one of the commands i put inthere was cl_ejectbrass 0 but it still shows ejecting brass, although my cl_ragdoll_collide 1 works just fine, heres what it looks like (not very many)
cl_ragdoll_collide 1
jpeg_quality 100
cl_smooth "0"
r_lod "-2"
cl_ejectbrass 0

put them in ur config.cfg

remember to save it as read only

do i need quotes around the numbers, like all of them in the config.cfg file do, when someone gave me cl_ragdoll_collide 1 theres no quotes around the number

im not 100% sure on that but i have the quotes around everything in my config

btw the ragdoll comm is server side

really? well i cant seem to get CS to stop showing ejecting brass, not something i really need cuz my computer really isnt that great
