Awesome Fan made WW2 CGI movie

looked nothing like the Vietnam war though, needs work

:)

The Japanese robot should have looked like this:

Good CGI though! :)

That was amazing for just a fan film. Im impressed.

Voice acting on the lead pilot sucked though. Also, I dont get the ending... the robots all of the sudden started moving so slow that they rusted and never finished fighting?

No, I think the bad robots got defeated and they put them back together as a statue.

Many years later, one of the bad robots started working again.

For an amature film, incredible.

That's awesome, but why is it called a "fan" film? Fan of what? Fan of the war?

I don't understand how this movie can be so epic in so many difficult things like visuals and sound, yet fail in very simple things like the dialogue.

Great stuff. Confusing ending.

I found myself cheering for the nazi robot, is that bad?

That was the silliest thing ever, with the silliest voice-work ever.

But a sig-heiling robot? AWESOME.

Also, did fighter planes even have radios in those days? And didn't they have rockets?

Yeas they did have radios, and no they didn't have rockets. Think about it, why fire dumb slow moving rockets that had no chance of hitting a moving target(they didn't have any guidance systems back then)

Many attack aircraft in WWII had rockets. What they did not have were misisles. Rockets are extremely efffective against ground targets, especially for attack aircraft.

I thought the movie was very well made, but I thought the whole premise was rather stupid. Why did they send Mustangs after the robot? Why not shoot it with all of those destroyers and battleships' cannons? One shot from one of the destroyers would have taken it out.

It would have also been much more beleiveable and entertaining if the robots had human controllers sitting inside of them. (ie, the eyes being windows in which you can see little nazi tank commanders)

wow lol that was a great movie. excellent modeling. voice overs kind of sucked.

My grandad was a giant mid-century robot war machine operator.

He said they didn't have in-cockpit radios.

Wait... the guy with the picture of his beautiful dame DOESN'T die?! This fails as a WWII film :p

Nice CG though.

Great short, but one thing that confuses me is if the US had their own robot from the beginning, why not just use it instead of waiting for all but one pilot to die? They should've called it in from the beginning.

I guess it...wasn't ready? Or something.

Maybe they had to finish painting it.
