awesome presentation

*wait til someone post "47% of statistics are made on the spot"*

Since when has YouTube allowed videos that are longer than 10 minutes in length? :O

This is pretty cool I must say, especially the moving shapes of the World's income...very neat. The first portion of the presentation looked like PowerPoint to me though.

edit: Sweet jesus...50% children mortality rate in a couple of Countries? :(

Does anybody know what kind of software he might be using to make these charts.

With the drama and urgency of a sportscaster, statistics guru Hans Rosling uses an amazing new presentation tool, Gapminder, to debunk several myths about world development. Rosling is professor of international health at Sweden's Karolinska Institute, and founder of Gapminder, a nonprofit that brings vital global data to life. (Recorded February 2006 in Monterey, CA.)
