does anyone here use azureus? If so does anyone know of any way to connect to more seeds? It says theres 91 seeds, but im only connected to 6 or 7 of them. Also what site do you use to search for torrents?

I use it, but I don't think there is any way to force the seed connections. Be good if there was, but I think the tracker manages this?

The number of connections a seed allows is determined by the individual seed itself. There is no way to force them to connect to you... regardless of what BT client you use. Still, you don't necessarily ever have to connect directly to a "seed" to finish your download because the collective uploads from the other leechers might be enough for you to get all of the required data. Even if there are 0 seeds you still might be able to download the complete file if the other leechers managed to each get enough pieces before the seed(s) went down in order to trade with each other for the parts they don't have, yet. Then, after that happens and the leechers begin to complete the file(s), they turn into seeds. It's really a great distribution system... especially if you don't have the bandwidth to distribute your files through direct downloads.

alright, after you download a file how the hell do u get it to work? I finished downloading a pretty big file, but when i go to open it up theres just a bunch of useless files, no .exe file or readme or anything.

I'd guess it's a bunch of .rar files? (or possibly 1 .rar and some .r01, .r02, .r03, etc) You'd need something like WinRAR to open these and extract the file(s).

be more specific as to what it is/the types of files we're dealing with
