backup hard drive

i just got a virus and it deleted some parts of windows so my compe wont srtar up, but i can fix it. the thing is which is the best external backup hard drive out there for this sort of thing? u know u push a button and it backs up ur data etc etc, also, i could use some conciliation. whimper whimper

Well, I remember reading about a harddisk that would backup everything on another one at the push of a button, but that was sometime at the end of last summer. But currently i'd recommend using an external firewire harddisk.
