You think? I'm still enjoying it to this day - did you get all the unlocks or buy the game before Conquest/new maps were available? Not a hostile attack by the way, just curious. Though the close-quater combat can be quite fast-paced, I love how the rest of the game is made better by the fantastic sound and fully destructable environments. The game doesn't need both to make it great, but they really add to the experience. I love taking cover behind another squad who are using a tank and hearing the zip and ping of a random AK spray whizz over my head. The game really reminds me of all the videos you see of combat in Iraq/Afghanistan where it's a totally different type of encounter then to what we play in video games.

Really looking forward to this!

The environments aren't fully destructible, they're still scripted and some walls can't be destroyed etc.

For fully destructible environments you'll have to wait for Red Faction: Guerilla.

And will continue to want provided they allow 100+ players in MP on the PC version (which Frostbite can certainly handle), an artifical reduction in the maximum number of players like in BF2 would be most vexing.

I've always wished they would do another Battlefield sooner than later for the PC. BF2 was one of my favorite gaming times.

I'll rephrase that, then. 99% destructible environments, save for small things like the foundation supports of a building or the end parts of a bridge.
