Bad CRC

Okay, more problems

I just downloaded something but what do you know it's corrupt. It's giving me a bad crc error with Winzip. I did a search for this, I tried Advanced Zip Repair but unregistered it won't repair files above 3mb. But it is telling me the file is repairable!

Anyone give me any help on this? Other programs? Another solution? I want the damn file >_<

sometimes certain versions of rar files can do that depending on which version of winrar is used. Sometimes its just downloaded bad from the server. Sometimes winace needs to be used to get it to work, zip files can sometime do the same thing, especially if they were zipped in one of these other programs and have options set that winzip doesn't understand. Try the others (latest versions) and see if it still works, it might be fine.

Actually I tend to experience the opposite, winace cant open certain rar files but needs winrar.
Anyway, as said, use many different programs to try and open it. Or it might just be... a crc error
