I think something's wrong with my Hammer. Whenever I try to do any sort of trigger, when I check my map for problems, it always says "Entity (<trigger name>) has bad I/O connections." No matter what I do, whatever I try, none of my triggers do anything.

I even tried the simplest trigger I could think of: By walking into a trigger_once, you ignite a citizen named "npc". But even that doesn't work. Someone help me ;(

Tried a door or something?

Triggering a npc would not be the best thing to do - I would have thought. But that's probably my HL1-mapperness coming out :P

When your making them, keep an eye on the little icon in the bottom left corner, fiddle with it until the red line goes away. It seems confusing at first but the errors are simple once your used to it.

Wow, I feel like an idiot. I thought the "Name" field could be custom, so I was naming all my triggers things like "powerOn" and "ignite_npc" when I should have been choosing "onPressed" No more Bad I/O Connections error for me, so far.

Well, I'll see if it works now.
