Badass new Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway trailer

No. Please don't tell me that I saw ANOTHER ****ING third person cover system in this trailer. ****ing shit! I am so sick of this cover system garbage in FPS games, it's tacky, clunky, unnecessary, unoriginal, and completely breaks any feeling of immersion. Other than that it looks pretty good.
 
Gore? Where? looked pretty standard. Unless it is a crapload better than the previous games I'll pass.
 
That actually looks rather amazing. I'm quite impressed.
 
Wow, the facial animation system sucks.

Meh, looks like its more of the same game, with over dramatic dialogue and typical WWII plot.

Judging by this post, I can tell that you never played the first game.
 
Looks like it could be fun to play. Dismebering looks alright too.

WW2 FPS games dont usually do it for me though :(

And yes the facial animation is terrible.

edit: ok now I saw it, in the PC version of the original you could edit the game's INI files to increase gore, blowing limbs off etc, most fun I had with that game.

Story looks lame, I couldn't give two shits about the characters in the first game, they were more annoying than anything.
 
The only thing I disliked about the previous games was the annoying graphics, looks like they have knocked them up so I shall be getting this pronto! Looks awsome, and I for one dont mind the FPS cover system, thought it was rather helpful in Rainbow Six: Vegas.
 
Yay more America America WOOHOO BS in videogames. I'm getting sick of this shit. I'd like a good game from the German perspective to prove the fact that they indeed were human too.
 
Aye I will agree its very iritating having to play as the yanks all the time, the only WW2 I have played so far from the German perspective in CoH: Opposing Fronts.
 
It didn't look that great to me. Probably because I saw it without sound. There was an awful lot of colour, too.

Otherwise, I don't know what to think.

The first game didn't have a 3rd person cover system.
edit : Also, didn't see anything resembling that in the trailer.
Game looks alot darker than the first 2(3?), finally... hated how happy the game looked before.
 
Wait, this "third person cover system" you're all talking about... not similar to the one in Gears of War?
 
Well that killed the hype. The facial animation and the voice acting really kills it. It looks like they tried to hard to make something really cool and awesome but the results are shit. It just looks CHEEZY as hell, i dont know if im suppose to take the character seriously...and it does definitly NOT look like screenshots/vids that they showed before (which i now asume were pre-rendered)

The original was absolute crap. I've probably said that a thousand times, but really. It was dreadful. This one looks okay. Third person cover is lame.
 
I think it looked pretty decent, this might be something I'll be picking up later when its released. I like to collect most WWII games regardless, unless it looks like utter shit. I say this game at least looks decent, not terrible. I still need to pick up MOH: Airborne too, the price has been lowered.

Airborne was actually fun, I had fun with the demo atleast.
 
after pacific assault, the series was ruined....allied assault and front lines were my favorites.
