Well, I started out with earthlink... then after something happened and I went a month without service cause of some piss poor customer service, i switched to august.net, based out of the dallas texas area... and while its good service, great customer service... the price is VERY steep. I'm thinking about switching back to earthlink for its 'all you can eat' bandwith for gaming and downloading... since august also had a download limit.

That link I just gave... look at the bottom where it says the offer expires. Why the hell are they allowed to do this anyways? It's set to go to the next day from what it is... just so someone inexperienced will think "Oh my god, that offer is ending tomorrow, I gotta get this *NOW*!". Cheap sales strategy if you ask me, and not all that effective against smart people.
What internet providers do you guys use, and what do you suggest that is popular in most areas? I'm out of Dallas Texas, so i'm looking for something around there... around 1500 download, 128 upload for a decent price. Right now i'm paying august, and the phone company... about 80-90 dollars total. Its rediculously expensive.
