Band of Brothers 2

glad it's completely separate from BoB, could be a damn fine show so long as they keep up with everything they did right in BoB, following USO guys should be an interesting take on it

I loved BOB..........
i even paid the $90 price tag for the dvd set....
im a WW2 buff so i love anything that has to do with stuff like that

i thought it was supoosed to be called ''flag of our fathers'' r sumit...

Wow, just on Saturday on brought the DVD set. I'd seen one or two on TV agggggggggesssss ago, and they were ones half way into the series so I was a little lost. Finished the set now, I loved them. Excellent news on a next series. I was just thinking the other day, after finishing disc 4, 'I wonder if a second series'll be made.'

I loved BoB... I wonder how they'll portray the enemy, since they spent most of their time in a hole. :p

That's going to be a movie Speilberg and Clint Eastwood is making or something.

I heard about this awhile ago. Can't wait, BoB was a terrific series. I would really like to buy the DVD set.

!!!!!

I was wondering what was going on with BoB, looks purteh schweet :E

I heard about this a year or so ago and have been obsessed with finding information ever since. I love Speilberg's work and Band of Brothers was just awesome.

No other TV series has captured my interest as BoB did. The only one that comes close is Sopranos.

Awesome. I loved the first series. I remember watching them on Sundays with my father.

<3 BoB... perfect characters. I hope they are equally as perfect in this one. No name actors with on screen chemistry (well except ron livingtston)? hook me up with another please.

I liked that too.
No big fat famous actors who cant actually act, thx :x

No name actors are the way to go. Unless it's Bill Murray, Bill Murray makes any movie worth watching.

I hope this one lives up to the quality of the first.

I always saw Band Of Brothers sort of as Saving Private Ryan, only longer as there was more episodes to make up for the film SPR. Therefore; gooood.

EDIT: And yes, I am aware it is directed by Steven and Hanks, what I mean is that its just like seeing a longer version of Saving Private Ryan. Which is good, no?

I can't understand why Africans would fight in the pacific...
Maybe a few in the Europeans colonies in Oceania, but hardly with the Americans...

I agree ...although "My life aquatic" was disappointing

I'm not sure about the pacific as a good setting for BB2 ...the american view of the japanese is a bit one-sided ..but I have high hopes for it as the first one was excellent

Africa was freed by the Americans, if I recall correctly. They must have been motivated to do that.

bought BoB. definitely looking forward to this series.
