i don't know, shephard is appealing because he never talks, just like gordon...
 
I think Sheppard because he could possibly have a better story. He comes back with a vengeance after being abondened

man... because of people always ranting about it, valve is tottally going to put Sheperd in Hl3. good job.
 
i'd definitely like to see Adrian involved in the HL2 story somewhere... and i don't mean just a small-ish part.. because Opposing Force was really neat and Valve can really have Adrian play a huge part in the HL universe.

with that said...theres no info been given out to suggest Adrian is in HL2...so maybe we might perhaps see him in another expansion? either way.. im interested in what happens with Adrian.
 
:bounce: Man HLOP was so funny the first time i played it at a friend's place cuz my name IS Adrian - so when i started playing it at some midpoint in the game I heard the guy on the radio say "Adrian? Is that you?" I was like " :O HOLY OMFG SH*T HE KNOWS MY NAME!!!!1 :O "...but then my friend told me that was the character's name and i loled good. I choose you Adrian Shephard!! - Also, is alyx holding a wrench in some of those concept pics? Thas awesome!

adrian might be in hl2
but hl3 seems like his hour instead of gordon's

it would be cool if they make a 3rd POV you play as the GMAN.
go around giving people jobs and sending them to their doom. muhahahah

id like to see adrian in another expansion. i dont want him to be a character in HL2, because he had the same treatment as gordon, we were him. to see him as an actual character would ruin their desired effect, and would pretty much null the idea of using him in an expansion. they could work him into the background of the HL2 story however, if you just hear about what hes done, or see the results. i think it works differently for alyx though. i would like to see an expansion involving her to find out what happened involving the invasion/city 17 in gordons absence. it would work for her b/c she was established as a character first, then playable later.

Sheppard in HL2 would be great.
But if hes not in the original game then i really hope the make another expansion "Opposing Force 2" :)

I'd like to see an add-on where you get to 'play' with Alyx as well.

ROFL - did anyone ever see that Half-Life 'mod' that was a pr0n simulator? I dread to think what someone could do with the source engine.

I've just remembered the name of it...3D Pornstar. It used a 'modified version' of the Half-Life engine...it was woeful in the extreme.
 
Barney will be fun to have around in hl2 (didn't I kill him back in black mesa, though? :upstare: ) but I sure hope Adrian will be back, preferably in an expansion to hl2. HL2 is (hopefully) going to be too good not to have expansions.

The main character in Oppising Forces, probably the only person who single-handed could stand a chance against Gordon.

DEFINATLY Sheppard.

The only HL2 Character to step out in a room full of zombies and slaves with a machine gun. His weapons were better (the tongue-creature gun), machine gun, alien grenade launcher thing, THE WRENCH, shock rifle, DESERT EAGLE. The only pistol I would constantly use over the revolver.

Plus his ending was the biggest 'WTF!' ever.

I was so pissed. He needs to be redeemed.

Adrian. It's interesting; out of the three main expansion characters, he's the only one that we never saw the face of...
