It does look nice, but does anyone know if this is a port of the other console BF2s?
They were shiet imo, the vehicles felt really strange, the SP was meh, overall they felt really really meh..

I believe this is a port of the PS2 and Xbox versions, not sure though.

I read somewhere that it's a port ...the xbox version of bf2 was far too arcade-y for me, I was highly disappointed by it. The SP game is just aweful, flight controls while easier dont feel right

Yup, but what can one expect?
It's EA, and it showed clearly with the half-arsed console ports that released in 2k5, if any of you were unlucky enough to try it.
I really REALLY think, if they wanna do a BF for the console, do a direct port, not some new shiet that ain't even half as good..

I like how you can see the mountains and trees through the last building. The heat shimmer effect is also laughable. But hey it's all about the graphics right? I hope for the Xbox-ers sake that the gameplay is at least decent.

I think it looks a tad bit better than the PC version. I don't know about the game mechanics though.

The videos were in a map that features rain so that might be one of the reasons for the shine.

Meh, it's still a port, and BF2:MC is shit on the other console, so I wouldn't get my hopes up..
Also, I don't understand why they HAVE to do an objective based SP campaign(Such as you always having to complete that objective within 1 minute or you fail the mission etc), I want the old BF1942 SP back, only with smarter bots.
Preferably with some added dynamic campaigns(I.e., a group of maps in a region, if you lose, you move a map backwards, if you win you move one forward, and you can get different bonuses from different levels.. Sorta like SW Battlefront)

That's because the game is ultra realistic.

If the helicopter is at the right angle while the car blows up, and the pilot simultaniously sticks his thumb into his ass, it can create a black hole on earth. And eventually it will suck the whole universe into itself, as seen in the picture.
