According to former DICE CEO Fredrik Liliegren, the red-hot Battlefield franchise won't be taking a hit in the quality department any time soon. Speaking to Gaming Union, Liliegren shared his thoughts on the long-awaited PC sequel, saying "I think it's going to absolutely blow everyone away, but I can't tell you what it is, but it will blow people away."

Wonder what's so amazing about it? Sounds like its been in development for 3 years too, so I guess they've got a fair amount of stuff implemented by now.

Glad to hear its not like COD too. Hope its more like BF2 than BC2 though. Not that I don't love BC2, I just feel BF2 was better.

MW2 was just plain boring with newbs 1887-ing everyone and it was very unstable for me, many freezes.

I am still waiting for my copy of BC2 to be unlocked so I'll have to wait for that.

BF3 better be really freaking good or I'm going to pass on it. There's tons of shooters out there of AAA status so this better raise that bar.

C4 jumping **** yeah! I didn't play all the way through the advancements for recon just so I could find out I got shitty upgrade weapons and active camo for my work! I'm the ****ing KING of Jihad Jeeps! Doesn't change the fact that it's a stupid game mechanic.

To me, BC2 was just about everything right that was missing in BF2 (you know the good stuff). If they implement BC2's large weapon/gadget loadout and weapon customization, along with BF2's large scale environment I would be happy. I would love to see a pilotable A10, AC130, oh and I WANT MOTHER ****ING DRIVABLE BATTLESHIPS AND AIRCRAFT CARRIERS
