BBC's Take on Half-Life 2 Pirates (gameguru)

Personally, I don't like how Valve decided they're not even going to tell someone what they did wrong. What Valve is saying is that once they think you're guilty, that's it. No appeals. They don't even have to tell you what transgressions they detected.

In this country you're innocent until proven guilty. Valve is suspecting people of wrong doing and immediately taking action. If there's a protest, then they verify the wrong doing. It's this attitude that made me decide not to get Half Life 2 through Steam when I get my refund for my Collector's Edition.
