Beat Prey? What did you think?

I just beat the game and for the most part I thought it was very good. It definately brings more to gaming than most games. I found myself in awe at points just trying to grasp what was going on. The portals were very cool and well done. It was a tad shorter than I thought but by no means was it a short game. Anyway, Im blabbing now, so what were your thoughts?[/SIZE]

It was okay. Combat was pretty boring though. You fight those stupid standard grunts for 90% of the game and half the time they refuse to shoot at you.

It was a good game. The plot was mostly annoying ... not even close to being good but not campy enough to be funny. But the gameplay was really good, managed to be a bit different from the norm. The main reason I liked it was because it kept throwing new ideas and gameplay mechanics at you consistently, so the game stayed very fresh all the way to the end.

I would definitely recommend playing it.

Ya the combat coulda been a tad better, but like scott said, the mechanics were very well done.
