So I'm out the door for work, and head over to my car, where I find my driver side rear view mirror hanging from the adjuster knob. Theres a big scratch on the side of my hood, and a puddle of what appears to be beer right in front of the driver side door. In front of the car is a bike reflector, lying on the ground. Wierd thing, I can't open the driver door, something seems to be keeping it closed. Good thing I have insurance, otherwise Im guessing the boody work for this would be expensive. $500.00 dectuctable aint cheap though.....
So I'm visualizing a guy, wobbling around on his bike, left hand on the handlebars. His right hand is clenching a paper bag, filled with whatever preference of alcohol. He's wobbling back and forth in the middle of the street, and looses focus....wham...Of all the cars...
So I cross the parking lot and cross the street to work, when a guy suddenly zooms into the crossing lane. He slams the breaks, nearly missing me by about 3 feet. Thank God I'm ok, but that was definately a startle...
Anywhoo, Just needed to rant about the day....To all you people who think drinking and driving is a good idea....don't! :thumbs:
