Well I'm going by Asus's suggestions and upgrading my RAM and my video card so I can start enjoying the future PC gaming has to offer (starting with Crysis).

I'm holding off until the next line of DX10 cards come out, but the RAM I find I can use right now. I currently have 1GB of Corsair XMS PC3200. I want to have 2GB of whatever is the best system memory out there. My motherboard is the ASUS A8V. I'd greatly appreciate some suggestions as I have fallen out of the hardware loop as of late. Thanks!:D

Honestly, adding another stick of the same RAM will not only save you headaches, it won't set you back dollars-wise or that much in performance.

Really? So system memory hasn't advanced that much?

The average frame rate probably won't change too much on most games. What it can help with is getting rid of low dips that are not caused by heavy graphics. I know with games like BF2 it helps make everything a bit more smooth.

Ram is cheap anymore. Might be worth it. But then again if you plan on upgrading the whole system soon it won't be using DDR but DDR2.

I plan on keeping the system as you advised Asus. Just upgrading the ram and the video card.
