Benq E2400HD or Viewsonic VX2433wm

Hey, so I actually got around to buying that computer I was talking about. Well now I'm looking at buying a monitor for myself. Anyone heard much about the two stated monitors? Thinking I'll go with Viewsonic as it's more well known? Specs are almost the same while price is very similar as well.
Basically I want the monitor for gaming, ps3 and movies.

Check the customer feedback at the selling place. Google both and compare reviews.
If spec and price are close (Give and Take,) and one is popular than the other, there must be a reason. Of course, unless one is new to the market and the other is well known, but I can't gave you a fair answer.
