a bit to skinny, but looks nice still. You could proberly save quiet a lot of triangles on the skrews.

yeah just to skinny, and i would recommend a better render.....

ye, you never seem to render your weapons. But rendering looks to much better.

lol, you should up the antialiasing value then :-) And yes it's a little skinny. You have a good ratio details/polys but maybe to much polies on the screws... You should leave the little indent in them to the textures/normal maps. Good model :)

ehh i dont know to much about teh rendering thing with Maya:( Yeah soooo many people are a little disapointed with it being thin but they seem to really likethe detail on it so i will make it thicker. And the screws are not to high poly its just that there are another set of screws behind them on the other side of te handle so when its in wire frame, you see the wireframe of 2 bolts so it seems its too high but really its just another one behind it.

how high poly are the screws?

Well, as soon as Munro get of his ass and uploads my tutorial, lighting will seem easier for you!

*shady eyes* If you want to check it out.... you might want to check out the link hidden here

Crits: it seems a little skinny, and the groves in the slide seem too deep.

WAY to thin. looks more like a taurus though

I think the screws stick out a little too much, very good model though.
