DONT DO IT!! Shit, every person I've ever talked to that worked at best buy, they **** you have hardcore. Shit, I applied, they called me, set me up an appointment, I went in..

"I'm here for an interview?"
"Name"
"*give name*"
*look through papers for a couple minutes.*
"Alright, I'll have someone give you a yell over the intercom when your up."
*30 minutes pass....*
They finally call me up, just to tell me that I DONT have an interview, and that I made up them calling me.

Great place to work, I never applied again.

I work at a Future Shop which is basically a canadian version of Best Buy, or a branch of best buy. did they have you do the online application? there's quite a few retarded questions on it and as for the interview I don't really remember all the questions but they asked me like in your previous job experience what did you do when *insert something that happened here* they just wanna make sure you're not gunna steal or freak out at customers.

Actually, most Best Buy's around my area have a great staff.

They'll ask you questions refering to your ability to sale items. If a customer comes in saying he would like a computer, it is your job to sale that computer, as well as talking him into buying a printer (as well as paper and ink), webcam, software, anything to make the sale larger for the company. They really aren't looking for people who know alot about computers.
