Best Buy= THE WORST RETAIL STORE EVER!!!!

My GOD, I hate Best Buy so much Heres why: Ok I buy a pc from them about two months ago. After about three weeks the operationg system messes up. So, naturally, I take it back up there and explain to them the problem. They are like yeah you can't return it because of our return policy on PC's and crap. This pisses me off because a brand new PC's operating system isnt supposed to break after 3 weeks. So I accept their return policy and realized that I couldn't swap it out. So I pay them to service it. I come back after about two days and they are like we cant fix it so we have to ship it off to our service center, which is understandable. I come back two weeks later to pick up my PC and these ******s say that my PC had come back but still wasn't working. So i asked them what the Service Center had done to fix it and the rep said that they had run hardware checks on it but didnt check the OS. I was like OMG, HOW INCOMPETENT ARE THESE PEOPLE? If they didn't check the OS, that MEANS THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO TURN ON MY PC!!! So now they sent it back. I think the thing that bothers me the most about this is the incompetence of the BEST BUY STAFF. I just felt like walking into the store and cursing everyone of the idiots out. AND THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS.... BEST BUY IS GAY!!!

well i dont buy pcs there- but in general for all my game and dvd needs best buy rocks- they got great prices in the dvd and games department and thats what i like!
 
Wait, say that again, I missed the part about Half-Life 2.

what do you mean by not working do you know what was wrong with it ? If its just the OS you dont need to return it because of that. That could be fixed

I am 250lbs, 4% body fat, bench 350lbs and can do up to 380lbs on a good day so stfu.
 
umm...did you put the restore cd in?.
Did you try system restore?
Windows just doesnt break(rarely and if it does all you have to do is reinstall or use your restore disk that came with the PC)
With all the virus's going around latley thats what i think your problem is. They can ****ed windows up to the point of no return and sometimes your hd also.

Restore CDs always work if it didnt here are the reason why it wouldnt.

#1 Your CD-ROM was not first in the boot process

#2. Virus preventing you from doing stuff like this

#3 CD Rom defective

My real name is THUGENSTEIN. I've been here for 5 months. Some people here hate me really badly, others think I'm the funniest fool ever. I've been banned about 4 times so far. 6 accounts were closed so I figure I get a new name. I was banned because I used alot of dark humor around these boards. People were too serious and didnt understand some of the shit I'd say.
