best card for a pci

i have a 3.0 p4 with a gig of ram when its done and i know pci sucks but for hl2, what is the best card?

god your stupid 9600 is only agp and yes the 5700le is the best pci video card u can get anything lower is not worth it i personally have one intil i can get some money to buy a new card

alright im getting a new motherboard too. pci express. whats the best card for hl2 and battlefield 2? none of that 2 card stuff iim not spending 1000 dollars i heard the 800x or something is the best oen

I've x800xl (see sig) and I play hl2 and bf2 on max (AA and Vsync included in 'max'). I had to turn down to 1200x1000 and no AA or Vsync on Quake 4 though, maybe that's due to my relative "slow" cpu, I don't know...

The how come I can run HL2 on a Geforce 4MX, and BF2 (The demo anyway) on a FX5200 without any exploshens?
