Which would you guys say is the best Catalyst Driver? I wanna know this so I don't download 4.2.....as it just ****s my games up.

Click the above links at ATI.com and read the "Fixed in this version" section. It's basically like an application qualifying list, if you see one you own, upgrade. If not, then it is up to you, you may or may not benefit depending on the amount of changes. Here are the two revisions:

Catalyst 4.1
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/CATALYST_41_Release_Notes.html#167878

Catalyst 4.2
http://www.ati.com/support/includes/titles/fixed.html

Personally I stay behind unless one of my applications is effect by something in the change, otherwise it is overkill.
Enjoy...

i keep up with the latest, had no problems so far

4.2 works great for me.

Sidenote: If it doesnt do anything particular for you, just dont upgrade. I still had 3.7 up until 3 days or so (when I finally got around to install 4.2)

From all the evidence I'v seen it's best to stick with the latest, unless you want to run the Nvidia tech demo's then you have to go back to a fairly old version.

Good point, except the fact I just started up the Dawn demo fine here (plus the little nudie addition ;)).

Well my original cd comes with 3.10, 2 before 4.2. So ill stay with this until another set of drivers that work for me:( Whenever i install an update, my AGP memory goes to off and no matter what i do it stays off. So idk whats wrong.

i've had issues with pretty much every catalyst driver update except 3.6. for me 3.6 is by far the most sturdy and no-frills orientated graphics driver set. 4.2 seems to be working fine so far, but if anything borks up i'll just go back to good old reliable 3.6.
