Best commercial ever

That was awesome, but another example of how most commercials have nothing to do with what they are selling.
 
Actually I think it was supposed to explain how the Golf GTI is a classic, but upgraded to be better. Like what they think of the Singing in the Rain remix.

Get outta of here! You lazy bum! And yes I realize that but it doesnt give me any specific knowledge of the vechile, so that me the lay person can get an idea of what the hell the difference is between the classic and the new improved..which is what a commercial is supposed to do..right?

Nope, a commercial is supposed to just associate a sweet video with a brand name. Thats all they're for these days.

that's how all of VW"s old commercials were, and that's what made them so awesome.


Like the video of the people cruising around at night in the cabrio and they pull up at this party, but it's a bunch of drunk idiots and they back out and keep driving.

The new VW commercials are awful, I hate car commercials where there like, "the new 40mpg, 250hp, whatever whatever, lease one now for $349/month for 36 months, visit your local whatever dealer and test drive one today!" Blah!

My favorite commercial had to be a mini commercial from a long time ago. FOLLOW THAT CAR!
