Best Film of 06

I did a quick search and came back with nothing, which is pretty surprising considering we're 16 days into 07.


It's kinda sad but the film i enjoyed the most last year was without a doubt Borat. I've seen it twice and each time I laughed my ass off, by far the funniest film I have ever seen.

The Departed is a close second, I was glad to see Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio were actually capable of making a great movie together.



Anyway, what do you guys think was the best movie of 2006?

'07 looks good so far with smokin' aces, 300, grindhouse, and hot fuzz all on the horizon (or in the case of smokin' aces, out now, i really wanna see that )

The Departed and Children of Men for me. I'd probably pick Children of Men out of those two, was amazing. I'm sure I'm forgetting some ... but right now that's all I can think of.

I still haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth, really want to though.
