lots of new stuff came out this year, so little of it ended up in my hands ;(

but here are some of the newer things I had a chance to play with that I thought we're outstanding this year

xbox360: love it or hate it you cant deny games sure look pretty on it

evga 7800gt: just bought it a month or so ago and so far I'm really loving it. The Lost Coast looks absolutely fabulous as does CoD2. I highly recommend the evga model as it usually comes on top in benchmarks against other 7800gt's with bfg a very close second ..also evga cadrs come with lifetime warrenty, even if you overclock them

Sennheiser p160 headset ..lightweight comfortable and great sound. the mic is unobtrusive and clear as a bell. Bought it for bf2 seldom get to use it as no one wants to talk polotics with stern ;( ;)

logictech 518mx gaming mouse. Didnt think it would be that much of an improvement over my 310mx but wow the accuracy is astounding, plus it feels a bit heftier than my current mouse which is a little too light. Havent tried the G7 series yet

Xbox 360: Got one for xmas. Didn't really want one. But I must say that the graphics are awesome. Nice little machine. I shall enjoy it.

BFG 7800GT OC: I have 2 of these. I orginially had an X850 XTPE in the machine i built back in August. But two of those died, so i got the 7800GT. Very good card, everything looks so beautiful.

I'll think of some more...

XFX 7800GT. Cheaper than the rest. Overclocked out of the box. Comes with 3 full, free games and COD2. Best value to date.

im in love with my evga 7800gt, but qonfused, i think a free motherboard (which came with mine) is a better offer hah

that opinion changes on it if you had the motherboard with pci-e before or not

no its still a great deal...great warranty, comes overclocked as well

Anyone care to explain the $200+ difference between the 7800GT and GTX?

I do plan on getting a 7800GT soon, maybe if I see a store with them on sale or something...

Which is bullshit.

Uh, 'bullshit' as in not worth the money?
Or bullshit as in there's a bigger difference than that?
OOOOOOOr bullshit as in there's no difference at all?
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR bullshit as in poop...from a bull... I bet it's that one...

Bullshit that it's not worth the money. I mean. $200 for an extra 10 frames? Feh.
