Whats the best program, thats free, to record ingame videos while playing a game on my pc? I know a lot of people use fraps but it slows down framerate drastically and you can only do up to 30 seconds without paying money. Any good programs where i can avoid these problems that anyone knows of? Appreciate it...

Fraps is the best. But beyond that, the only screen capture programs i have used before are camtasia, and http://www.screentoaster.com/

Camtasia isnt free, and im not sure if it records game footage either. Screentoaster is awesome because its all done off their website, you dont install or download anything. But again, im not sure if you can record games with it. Maybe if you ran it in windowed mode?

Actually, ill check.

The framerate thing is not an issue with FRAPS it's an issue with hardware - it takes a lot more power/resources to run a game AND export full-speed full-quality avis to your hard drive than it does just to run the game. What game are you wanting to record? With Source engine games you can use demos and Bink video / RAD game tools to get around it and export at maximum resolution, maximum graphics at whatever framerate you specify.
