Best Nvidia driver for HL2

I have just picked up a new computer with a 6800 video card.This is the first time I have had a Nvidia card and was wondering what driver would be best for HL2.
The current driver installed is 6.6.8.4

I would say the latest stable release. Hopefully an nvidia card owner will post this as I'm currently using an ati card.

there is no best driver for a game just keep up with the latest drivers i mean im using the newest ones on my crappy 5700le

the 78.xx one is the best, it gets rid of some of those glowing texture bugs.
