Pretty self-explanitory. :p Don't complain about lack of options or I'll do stuff to you.

I vote Munich!

Sin City. I saw Munich yesterday and though I'm sure it's a wonderful movie, i was completely not in the mood and almost died in the theater because it was so ****ing long.

Sin City for me

One of the best comic book adaptations ever imo, very cool

I picked "other". Although, I'm still not sure what was my fav film of 2005. Crash and Downfall is what comes to mind at the moment. I have yet to see Brokeback Mountain and Munich, which I have both have very high expectations for. And who picked Revenge of the Sith, c'mon, who you kidding?

All straight, normal porn is good porn.

You people sicken me!

SERENITY

How could you people vote for anything else?

Sideways should surely be up there, though out of the films on the list i'd choose Sin City, just got the extended edition and it rocks. Batman and Kong were also great, as was 40 year old virgin though Wedding Crashers is slightly funnier.

Shit I knew I was forgetting something.

Subtract one vote from Sin City and change it to Other, in your heads, fellas.

Downfall is def. my movie of 2005, too.

But out of that list... uhhh.. I dunno.

Tough one...

I liked Episode 3 Alot, and Sin City, and King Kong... Never saw Serenity... 40yr Old Virgin was fun but not worthy for a MOTY award... Batman Begins was a great movie too... Hm... Jarhead, was awesome... Never saw Syriana...

God damn it, I can't choose :(...

**** it, I had fun watching Episode 3.
So there it is.

For those of you that haven't seen serenity watch the entire firefly series first then go see serenity. You will be obsessed. Just look at the firefly/serenity thread...no negative reviews what so ever...in fact the majority of the people in there admitted to being obsessed after watching them. Now you must watch!

Der Untergang was very good, but I think King Kong was rather awesome so that gets my vote.

I loved Firefly but I didn't really like Serenity that much. :(

Howl's Moving Castle, because, well... everything else I saw just didn't make me all warm inside like HMC. Runner up was probably The Goblet of Fire. Was War of the Worlds this year? The first half was probably one of the best movies i've ever seen.

He's damn right! Shame on your Kage for not adding that to the poll. And if you didn't see it....SEE IT!!

Munich - best movie I've watched in a long time, it just worked so well

Honestly, Serenity seemed cheap and rushed at the end, especially with the two main deaths, those just seemed glossed over, I prefered the series much better than the movie

Serenity was decent at best. The ending was stupid.

I voted for Sin City just because Munich isn't playing within a 50 mile radius of my home. I'm pretty sure Munich would have beaten it out.

2005 was shit for movies, besides Sin City, really.

You didn't watch firefly did you?

You are henceforce labeled as a heretic and a communist!

Sideways came out this year in Australia.

Sideways easily takes the cake. (although i haven't seen Munich)

Munich without question.

Where's A History of Violence?!
Where-ever it is, it should be some place worse. What a terrible, awful, uneventful, poorly directed, boring movie. :afro:

Batman Begins was actually pretty good, but they f*cking ruined, RUINED Scarecrow. Sin City was fantastic. I'm sure Munich is spectacular (even though I can't see it yet :(). Everything else was so-so, or godawful.

And I've seen one episode of Firefly, Glirk, and I didn't much like it. However, I don't care about the show, cuz I watched the movie. The movie was pretty damn entertaining and suprisingly pretty good. But the ending was awful.
Why they had to kill off some of the main characters so suddenly in the end was beyond me. Oh, that's right, I know now. Because every damn movie like that has to kill some of the main characters. I even called it waaayyy before it happened, even though I couldn't pinpoint which one was gonna die. I did enjoy it, though.

Didn't see anything exept Star Wars. Who voted Narnia lol.

I wanted to vote for the Spongebob movie, but it's not there.

So I vote for.......

Lamp.

No wait........

Spoon.

Oh, I don't vote for favourites. Someone will always feel left out, and go home crying. I liked them all. Even the ones I haven't seen or heard of.

The show's amazing.

And so was A History of Violence -_-.
Hey, whatever you like, you like. I was just bored through the whole thing. And one thing that bothered me was how long some of the scenes were, that could have just been implied. Like the scene where he is with his wife, and there was a long, drawn out, oral sex scene. :p And the beginning, where it just follows a guy who is walking across the hotel.

Did ya read the comic?

Sometimes I am a bit opinionated, sorry mate. <3

And I said I only saw one episode of Firefly; I'm actually gonna attempt to watch some more.

Watch them all...I thought firefly was OK when I watched one episode but as you watch more the characters are so amazing they pull you in.

They had to kill wash off because they had too many characters for a movie...they couldn't leave audiences that didn't watch firefly confused because they didn't watch it so in order to be able to develop characters in the shorter amount of time that movies have they had to eliminate some. Book was also a big character and he died as well. Believe me...no one liked it but it had to be done for the same of movie vs TV series transition.

I liked Serenity, found out about Firefly saw the season {or what's left of it} and havn't seen Serenity again. Hopefully i'll enjoy it the second time around.

I also agree with Glirk Dient's post, a movie needs to be simpler.

Anyway, I voted Sin City, but if Serenity was up there it would be my vote.

It's alright guy . Being opinionated is fine. Yes, I've read the comic. And trust me, once you watch the first couple episodes of Firefly, you won't wanna not watch it. It's that good.

I voted Sin City. One of my fave movies.

And yeah, watch the whole "series" of Firefly. It's damn awesome.
