Best of the 90's

Pog, Jenga, Milli Vanilli, Vanilla ice, color television, hair in a can, and creamsicles.

Gaming revolution, experiencing all those cool games for the first was awesome

Internet revolution, pornography is no longer restricted to the trenchcoat brigade

CG revolution in movies. Seeing that dinosaur in Jurassic Park for the first time was just awesome. This also had it's bad side as well, eg CG spamfests like Attack of the Clones.

The best thing about the 90s was 2000.

MC Hammer

Fresh Prince of Bel Air
--> Will Smith

3d Gaming
--> First Person Shooters

Power Rangers

CAPTAIN PLANET (I notice now, whenever they called him, he just ended up causing more trouble than if they'd just done it themselves)

Pokemon!

Wait...was pokemon even in the 90's?

The albums Isola and Hagnesta Hill from the band Kent, particularly the songs 747 and kevlar soul.

Available in both swedish and english.

Late '99 as far as I know.
It was wayyy before that. I have a Pokemon book from 1996, I think it started earlier than that.

For me the best thing of the nineties was sex. My first time was on may 3rd 1990 and I haven't stopped since.

It doesn't count with yourself.

The 90's were depressing(not for me as such, but there was just an air of depression)... some good things happened, but I was glad when we hit the millenium. The 80's were more fun, but thats probably because I lived the first 5 years of my life then. Oh what joy...

Best thing about the ninties? Probably Bon Jovi. But the same can be said about the 80's, and our current decade. I'm a bit of a fan, as you can probably tell.

Apart from that? Hmm...perhaps my introduction into the world of editing computer games?

It does seem pretty lacklustre in comparison to the crazy 80s and the vibrant 70s (even though i wasn't alive in the 70s it's purely an external comment). It's also reflected in the music of those times, there's so much spirit and emotion that comes through with that music.

90s music, like Nirvana and the smashing pumpkins is not very exciting or energetic. In fact the early nineties was defined by that pessimistic grunge epidemic. The 90s was like a massive hangover from the insanity of the 70s and 80s. Lets hope we get some kickass decades in the future.

You do know we've had colour TV in mass use since the early 70's, right? :farmer:

Where can you acquire these so called colour TVs?

I remember one of the kids in my school that was drawing a plan to assassinate the then-new President Clinton.

That memory is the best thing of the 90s for me.

Heh, the 90's were great for me, from 1-10 years old. It started going downhill at 11/2000. Hasn't stopped going downhill yet.
Too many things about the 90's to mention, most personal I think.
Pogs though. Marbles? Those football stickers got pretty big and yo-yos. (Speaking of which I bought one yesterday for old times sake. Can't do shit with it.)

Oasis
Half-life

I agree on those two. Not sure about Blur and the Spice Girls tho. Britney Spears on the other hand ....

The 90's meh, nothing too special there, had some good times with friends though really.
In my opinion it is getting worse every year, less and less fun.
I have fond memories of the late 80's, now it's just getting worse, i shudder to think what its getting like in this country, if you don't know what i'm talking about, don't ask.

The plan was probably original, if a kid decided to assasinate a president today it would be like

"I wud spwn out of da white house, n buy an awp. Awp is best snipers gun ever, it is power-full. I wud also get deagle wiv bullets in case I get spotted by goons. I wud go 2 bomb A, n camp 4 da prez. I am dead good wiv awp, I can hs wiv real accuracy (no aimbot, LOL). I wud shoot bush thru da head n then call 4 backup by pressin c then 3.

Terrists pwn!!!"
