Best PCI slot card?

My mate who recently bought a cheap new pc with intergrated graphics told me he wanted to play HL2 and Halo(1), but i knew he couldnt with that. His pc has NO agp slots, just 4 pci slots. Which would be the best pci slot card for him at £80 MAX...I've looked around and found the 'GeForce Fx5200 256MB' PCI version, whic seems good for £67. Anyone know anything better than that? would be a Great help!

Anyway. FX5600, or Radeon 9200?

i appreciate its a an odd thing. Cheers for that, hes got his first pc and a little cash for once, hes not that well off tbh. Im just trying to do him i favour. In fact he was only gonna spend 40, but im gonna pay the other half Be nice for him to be able to play his favorite games for once! Merci beaucoup
