oh yeah Tom Morello what a king. Let me think, born of a broken man, sleep now in the fire, calm like a bomb, killing in the name of (simple yet so popular). More good songs with rifts there, but i'm sure there better.Raxxman said:Well Rage against the machine have some wicked riffs
And Audioslave (what with having the same guitarist)
But Hendrix guys, Hendrix![]()
Yes, led zeplin songs DEFINATELY have some of the best riffs, particularly Black Dog. Did you know that Jimmy Page would write three or more riffs for a song before he found the one that sounded best? That's prolly why all their songs rock. :cheers:Bohonkie said:Heartbreaker-Led Zeppelin
I'm surprised no one else has even mentioned ONE other Led Zeppeling song. Any of their songs could be number one. While I'm at it, I'd put Layla by Clapton at number 2.

Of course, the classic Led Zep stuff is always awesome too, and Maiden and Sabbath have their fair share of great riffs, though I really don't like Iron Man that much, but that's probably because I've heard it a billion times.
