Previous Siren titles were complete shitfest, but they did a damn good job with implementing Silent Hill atmosphere (which Konami failed to do so in their previous SH titles since SH4... I blame different company making SH title...) and Fatal Frame-like CG animation.

I agree completely, I loved Forbidden Siren 1 and 2, although both of the games almost made me shit my PANTS.

I didn't like first two siren titles. They were... lacking. Good atmosphere, very horrible camera and control. It also had one of the worst dubbing, that is almost equivalent to quality of dubbing from first Resident Evil.


BTW, the upcoming game's demo is available on PSN, but you need to have japanese account.

I genuinely thought that this was about any upcoming game, not in any specific genre.
Sorry for any misconceptions.

my second post was meant as pure sarcasm which came off(and was propably written) in pure jackassary, and I am sorry for that, but, due to my circumstance, I was no able to relieve my normal urge for sarcasm, and recieved a concussion while doing a backflip and then frontflip onto concrete today, so my idea of what is funny and what is just arse-like is slightly off now(needless to say, it most likely was off before the head into concrete thing).

I am sorry for my wrong-doings and will leave this thread immediately, and hope that you can find it in your collective hearts to forgive me, and if not, I understrand completely.

Combine Hybrid, I've played Siren '3' on the PS3 at a mates house, he has a JPN PSN account, I played the demo, the controls and camera angles etc aren't much better than previous games IMO, and I really dislike the annoying usage of the motion sensory, like you have to shake the controller to the side to reload, and there's one part where you have to shake the controller up and down like you're ****ing masturbating to stave off some Shibitos.

I had a feeling they'd **** it up. Ah well there's plenty of other decent Jap horrors. Hell I was playing through the Fatal Frame games a while back and they still freak me out. Fatal Frame 4 is due for the Wii too

Can't wait for Siren PS3. Played the demo too and it is pretty darn scary alright. Not perfect, but what it lacks in some of the aforementioned controls it makes up for in spades with atmosphere.
