Yeah Pinnacle is good.

I'd be surprised if Premire Pro even works, Adobes solution to it not working is

"Format your hard drive and only install Windows and Adobe Premiere Pro"

me and my friends used windows movie maker for a school project and it worked nicely

Windows Movie Maker is nice and easy to use although limiting. I do have Adobe Premiere Pro but I have no idea how to use it.
